About Aerial Services

Four decades of trusted service across Exeter and Devon. A family business built on expertise, honesty, and a genuine passion for getting things right.

Our Story

From One Man & A Van to Devon's Trusted Name

It all started in 1984 when Mike Cummings climbed his first ladder in Heavitree with a toolbag and a determination to do things properly.

Back then, Exeter looked different. The Cathedral still dominated the skyline, but where Princesshay now stands were the old High Street shops Mike used to visit as a lad. He knew every street, every rooftop, every chimney stack that needed an aerial.

Word spread quickly. Mike wasn't just fitting aerials - he was solving problems. The retired couple in St Thomas whose TV had never worked properly. The pub landlord on Fore Street who needed six screens for the football. The farmer out near Crediton whose signal died every time the wind blew.

Forty years later, not much has changed - except now his son Michael is up there with him. Same values. Same attention to detail. Same cup of tea accepted with a smile.

"The answer is yes. What's the question?"

What We Stand For

Our Values

The principles that have guided us for four decades

Honest Advice

We'll tell you what you actually need, not what makes us the most money. If a repair will do, we won't sell you a replacement.

Quality First

We use equipment we'd put on our own homes. No cheap imports that fail in the first storm. Every install is built to last.

Respect Your Time

We turn up when we say we will. If we're running late, we call. Your time matters as much as ours.

Treat You Like Family

We've been in thousands of Devon homes. We treat every one with respect - shoes off, mess cleaned up, kettle on.

Local Knowledge

We Know Devon

From the cobbled streets around Exeter Cathedral to the windswept clifftops of Dawlish, from the student houses of St James to the farmhouses of Mid Devon - we've worked on them all.

That matters. We know that Stockland Hill transmitter serves most of East Devon. We know which Sidmouth properties sit in signal shadows. We know that seafront aerials need marine-grade fixings or they'll corrode within two years.

You can't Google that. It comes from forty years of climbing Devon ladders.
